This beauty business is fickle and full of therapists who seem to want to walk over others in an effort to be the best/most popular and yet there are a few out there who make the industry a pleasant place to be!
They share business when they are unable to fulfill a client appointment and promote the services offered by other therapists because they understand that at the core of any beauty business is the most important thing – you, the client.
The business survives because individuals want to have those essentials manicures for their job, the tidy-up of the brows to meet the new in-laws, the pampering facial for a quiet hour away from the kids or the full on Hollywood waxing for that extra special date!
As long as the client (YOU) is happy, then you will return for repeat business and spread the good word about a business – and there is no better advertising than word of mouth (plus it’s free)
And if someone has been happy and friendly towards you for a service that you don’t offer or helped you fill an appointment that they were booked up for, well there’s an all round feeling of just being nice. Which is what the business is all about, isnt it? Looking great and feeling fab… There are plenty of women out there looking for therapists and plenty of work to go around.
Being pleasant to other therapists makes for a less stressful, less bitchy and less nasty industry.
This is my opinion – what do you think? Am I being too soft?
Oh and I have now added more treatments to the range of services that I offer.. Spray tans and intimate waxing. Spread the word and give me a try.
Until next time – your place or mine….?
